Playmakers takes the viewer into a world not often seen as it follows the off-field lives of a group of American football players and coaches. What the average person witnesses come game-day is merely three hours that an entire week builds towards. Very few people know about the behind-the-scenes world that Playmakers presents: back alley drug deals, endless streams of women offering their bodies to the players, police looking the other way at very obvious offenses, domestic violence, visits to psychiatrists, murder cover-ups, etc.
