Toby Logan is a 30-year-old paramedic living with a secret: he can read people’s minds. He’s kept it to himself, fearing that his telepathic powers were a sign that he’s slowly losing his mind. However, the more he learns how to use it, the more he believes that this telepathy thing can be pretty darn cool. Now that Toby has decided to step out of the shadows, and he’s got a new perspective on life.

In season two, Toby further embraces his telepathic powers while working alongside his partner “Oz” (Ennis Esmer). After assisting with an undercover case investigated by the Integrated Investigative Bureau (IIB), he reveals his gift to Sgt. Michelle McCluskey (Lauren Lee Smith; CSI). He joins Michelle as well as her brilliant junior partner, computer maven Corp. Dev Clark (Rainbow Sun Francks, Stargate Atlantis), and Alvin Klein (Peter Stebbings, Madison) the Bureau’s in-house legal expert, to help solve IIB's most difficult and high profile cases. Dr. Olivia Fawcett (Mylène Dinh-Robic, Da Vinci’s City Hall) continues to help Toby identify his gift, while she also starts to explore the potential physical damage caused. Olivia has gained a new ally, Sandy (Tara Spencer-Nairn, Corner Gas), the head triage nurse who runs the floor with military precision and dry humour.
