The gambling haven of Las Vegas, Nevada provides the backdrop for Tilt. Poker legend DON “THE MATADOR” EVEREST relies on his status as one of the town’s most renowned players to get everything that he wants, from a luxurious lifestyle at his casino to beautiful women and fancy cars. However, Don’s reputation has recently begun to suffer as accusations have spread throughout Las Vegas and beyond that the casino is helping Don cheat at ‘fixed’ games.

Adding further frustration to the world of “The Matador” are EDDIE, MIAMI and CLARK, a group of younger poker players intent on destroying Don’s reputation and toppling him from atop his perch as the casino’s number one poker attraction. Under the guidance of Las Vegas veteran SEYMOUR, Eddie, Miami and Clark are motivated by their individual past experiences that have left them angry and vengeful. Together they use their respective skills as players to infiltrate “The Matador’s” inner circle of associates and gain his trust in order to unseat him. Also complicating “The Matador’s” once-invincible life is LEE NICKEL, an obsessed man on a mission to avenge the death of his brother who was murdered after revealing “The Matador’s” secrets and lies.
